I, too, teach in NJ. My DS's school district is losing so many teaching positions it's unbelievable. We moved to this town for the schools, and the governor is destroying public education. We are all so furious that he is giving back to the millionaires and pitting the taxpayers (which we all are) against the teachers. Our union's position is that we didn't cause the loss of aid, the governor did that himself, so don't put it on our backs. I am so sorry that you have been a victim of Christie. I hope your union steps up and figures out a way, fast, to help you out. We all need to pray, and pray hard, that the damage he is causing can be contained. (((hugs)))
