Good Friday holiday

Yes we do get Good Friday off but we don't get Jewish holidays in our district. Jewish teachers can take their holidays off without using sick days I believe but we don't have many Jewish teachers in our district. We are told that we aren't supposed to have any tests on Jewish holidays but they scheduled an activity night at our 5/6 building on the first night of Hanukkah.
