    I wish I knew where I found this song, somewhere on line, so I could give credit! My class loves it. It's sung to the tune of La Cucaracha (sp??)
    It's a sentence!
    It's a sentence!
    It starts with a capital letter. (Put hands straight up to make yourself tall.)
    It has a complete thought, (Tap on your head.)
    And punctuation, (Make little punches in the air.)
    That's how I know it's a sentence!

    When we're working on writing, I start humming it to give a hint of what's missing. They love it.
