I have a new student packet that I give them. I have a sheet that details all the procedures I went over those first few days of school (bathroom, pencil sharpening, early morning routine, where to put things, etc). I also take our school pics when we get them back and put one of each child on a sheet of paper and write their names underneath. Then I photocopy it and the child can take home the pictures of classmates to help them learn the names.
