    I just found ProTeacher and I am LOVING everything about it. I happened to be on and found a post about "free banner" from Vistaprint. I clicked on the link and they have a special THanksgiving sale going on now with tons of free stuff. I was on the site for a couple of hours but it was worth it. I bought (got free) things for my classroom, got some free items for my intern and family members. Free items: A baseball cap with picture of kids where I got to write "First Grade is Fabulous" and my name on the back; free magnets, free sticky notes and note cards... I did spend some money but I ended up getting free shipping and it will be at my house by Dec. 4th or before. You've got to check it out. I think the specials/free stuff goes until Dec. 19th.

    I love the ideas posted and wish I had read them before I got on the site. I got FREE large magnets and I set them up with my name, 1st grade, my school name, classroom phone number, my school e-mail address, the office phone number and the phone number to our transportation. I plan on sending a magnet home for each family to place on the fridge. That way they don't have to fumble around looking for all of those important numbers.
