10-28-2009, 03:07 PM #10 I work with CC! and am interested in learning more about Responsive Classroom -- particularly how the two can work togther. I've seen a couple of posts from teachers who use both and seem happy with the arrangement. We have used CC! in virtually all the schools in the region for more than a decade. In the past couple years, there has been a growing movement toward the Responsive Classroom. I know CC! is supportive of the RC process, but some of the teachers excited about RC look at CC! as a competing program. I am not a teacher, and sometimes feel I don't speak the language of educators, but I am looking for ways to approach our teachers to explain how CC! can work in the RC and not be viewed as competition. To me, these are two excellent philosophies that should work together to create an even stronger culture of character and academic excellence.
