Math: Rotations vs. D5 Model By msdw
|
| My Third Grade team is looking at doing Math rotations. I am reading here about using the D5 Model. Can anyone help me articulate why the D5 Model makes more sense to you? It feels right to me, but I need help articulating what the advantages will be over rotating the kids with a timer after, say, 15 minutes. (Weird--because I'm such a D5/CAFE devotee!). I heard Gail say, about rotations, something like,"I don't like to learn that way." Please throw out some thoughts!
