4th grade centers

I will be teaching fourth grade for the first time this year also. i am using two books for my centers. The first one is by mailbox. it's called learning centers for grades 4-6. the other one i am planning on using is file folder games for grades 3-6 by carson dellosa. you should be able to order both on the internet. i've found that the carson dellosa book is harder to find. anyway what i am planning on doing is xeroxing all of the activities i want to use. i color them and paste them into file folders (yellow for language arts, red for math, blue for critical thinking, and green for science). each student will get a list of all of the centers. during their free time they will be expected to complete a certain number each week and get checked off on them. that's my plan for now. hope this helps.
