I teach 4th and my colleague and I were thinking about making a "I'm through, now what do I do?" board that the students can use after they have finished an assignment. We were thinking of having several pockets of different content area. Some kind of sign-in sheet/chart showing how far the students have gotten. It's just talk now. WE have to sort out the details and try to think of a way where it is minimal work for us.
