    There are numerous ways to do this, I'm sure. What is easiest for me when I am looking to make something in a box for a specific size, is to insert a textbox.
    I am using Word 2007 on my home computer, so with that, in the right hand top corner of the toolbar, there is a "Height" and "Width" area that you can change.
    Another way to do it is to Right click on the text box, select "Format Text box" and go to the Size tab and change the size to meet your needs. You may also change the width of the box line by going to the "colors and lines" tabs and changing the Weight of the line.
