I hope this clarifies things for some people who are new to D5 and CAFE. D5 is the classroom management piece that teaches kids what to do and how to be independent so the teacher can work with students and not be interrupted. CAFE is what the teacher is doing with the kids: teaching, assessment, goal setting, etc.
I thought it might feel less overwhelming or scary if people could think about these books in this way.
