    Where it happens
    By Still trying

This mainly happens at lunch which we are forced to eat together. However, since my first post I have made some observations.

The main instigator, complainer, is really the first one to oblige whatever policy she is griping about. For example, we were required to have all our rule and consequences posted, etc.

Well, when this email came out, that was all I heard about at lunch. "Who does so and so (principal) think she is? Then, surprise, surprise, who has their rules up and on the board? Ms. Whiney butt does.

Who sits at lunch and whines about anything first? You quessed it. And, who was the first to comply? -- she does.

I mean the inconsistency here is driving me nuts.
As far as I am concerned you are either for the team or not. Then, I have two teachers who say that she has criticized them to their face.
(She feels it is her duty to go to other teachers to tell them what they are doing wrong.)

I have also been warned by these teachers not to believe things that she says, that there is always an underlying meaning to some of her statements.

Pretty much, I know that I am going to have to put up with her for the next 7 years until she retires. I know the others feel the same way. However, she is soo loud and intimitating that no one wants to rock the boat. They feel that she will retaliate in some passive way, by forgetting to tell you about an important meeting and making you late, to gossiping and joking about you.

So that in a nut shell is my situation. I am choosing to look upon it as a mental game which I refuse to fall into. I believe that she is being negative in order to bring the rest of us down so that she can look "better." I refuse to fall into that negativity trap. (Everyone thinks I am so laid back but inside I can be seething!)

So, I am just going to sit back and make observations. I am considering it a case study. Maybe I will write a book.
