WE accomplished the following over the course of the year. -Planted plants and trees in the front of school on Earth day - Made bird feeders and hung them around the school - painted bird houses (3) and hung them up - read recycle stories to lower grades (one about saving water, one about recycling, the Lorax, etc)... - picked up trash around the school once a month - Fixed up our reading garden by mulching, planting flowers and shrubs, setting out the patio furniture each monday and taking it in each friday (or bad weather day) - played recycling games - Made can crushers (to crush aluminum cans - we recycle them) - Recycle paper (good science activity) - we met once a month for meetings and maybe 2 times a month for activities.. GREAT CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!
