snowball fight

I have the kids write something about themselves on a piece of paper. Then they smash it up to look like a snowball. I say go and they get to throw "snowballs" at each other for so many minutes. When I say stop they find a snowball open it up and then have to found who it belongs to. Yes, its loud, someone always steps on someones hand, but when we write about what you liked about thrid graede I always hear, we loved the snowball fight!
I always read How to Lose all Your Friends. Then we write our own book on How to Fail Third Grade!
