I love volunteers and couldn't live without them. I have them do all my copying, laminating, Elison press cut outs, grading homework that is not for a grade (just a participation grade), spelling homework, math papers for reinforcement, bulletn boards put up and take down (i have pictures or sketches to let them know what it should look like), walking students to the nurse or office, listening to kids read aloud, flash cards to support math facts, make centers or file folder games...it's endless. I never turn them down when they come to the room.
