    Clip to ScrapBook

I gave up the traditional desk when I taught first grade in 1986. Since then I've used a table , the reading table, or something similar.

The past three years, I've been teaching departmentalized reading. Behind my computers where you cannot see it is a table I bought at Walmart....one of those fold up kind. I use it for the stacking of papers or books that I intend to get to.

Then I have this teensy little black table on wheels. It is soooooo old. It is barely larger than a 12 x 18 sheet of construction paper. I have the bowls of colored pencils, pens, and post-its that I often use.

Then, behind another bookcase, I have a trapezoid table with a lamp. I work at which ever one is less cluttered, but you can't see any from the main part of the room.

I use the plastic drawers and one of those little black metal things that hold abot 6 files where you can see each one to keep fairly organized.
