Seeing an X boyfriend under any situation is nerve racking. I get butterflies just driving through the town where mine lived growing up..even though I know he doesn't live there anymore. I think it is perfectly natural for you to have these feelings. And I am sure that your anxiety is not revolving around the child at all. I can imagine that you would feel jittery just knowing you might run into this guy in the hallway, even if his kid were in a different class. Don't feel bad about it. Afterall, you probably had intense feelings about this man once. Even though that has long since past and both of you are happy and secure in your marriages and lives, that doesn't change the fact that you had a history, maybe even love. Plus, if your relationship ended badly, that is a whole other set of emotions. I really don't have a suggestion but I wanted you to know that I think you are having a perfectly normal reaction.
