Making Butter and Corn Bread By Deer01
|
| Making butter is probably one of the easiest things to do. You will only need 3 items to make butter: heavy whipping cream, a pinch of salt and a baby jar. The smaller the baby jar the better. Fill the baby jar half way with heavy whipping cream. Then add a pinch of salt. Next, have the students shake the baby jar for 20 minutes. The kids love it! Finally, place in refrigerator for 1/2 hour...and you will have butter. The kids LOVE IT!
After you make butter, have the students make corn bread. Go to the store and buy the corn break that only cost 40 cents. It is very simple and this would go great with the November theme.
