    I like a lot of things about Literacy By Design, but our upper grade teachers didn't like it. I think you could continue to use a workshop approach without too much difficulty.

    I don't know anything about Pearson--never heard of it.

    Storytown is just a typical reading program. I would try to avoid it if at all possible.
