I teach 4th grade, and there's just so much to stay on top of!! It's not just grading. I take a lot of the paper trail home with me to go through and grade, but there's just so much planning and organizing on a daily basis! I don't think I'm terribly unorganized. I just can't (or choose not to??) do any of that type of thing when the kids are in the classroom. That doesn't leave me much time to get it done without using before and after school. Every year I say I'm going to do better. You'd think after 13 years, I would finally get it!! I go in at 7, leave at 5, and usually spend 4-5 hours at school on the weekend. Crazy.....I know!! That doesn't even count the hours I spend at home grading papers a couple nights a week. Ok.......this post isn't starting my day very well! I think I work too hard! Help!
