Pumpkin Book Characters

I send home a paper with the pattern of a pumpkin. The student and their family use the paper pumpkin and create a book character. They can add material, feathers, sequins etc. Some pumpkin book characters they've brought in are The Cat in the Hat, Olivia the Pig, and Frog from Frog and Toad. If you need a writing activity to go with the project have them write the steps they followed to complete the project.
