    Ocean Theme

    I am doing an ocean theme in my 2nd grade classroom and these are some ideas that I have found, many on PT.

    Reading: Take a Bite out of a Good Book (Shark)
    Discipline: Behavior Beach (I used sand buckets and put the students' names on them and when they get break a rule, they will pull a shovel)
    Jobs: A school of helpers (use fish)
    Door: Sea Mrs. _____'s 2nd Graders (I am going to take their pictures on the first day with flippers and a scuba mask on a stool or table. The students will color or decorate an ocean animal and their picture will be placed so that it looks like they are riding the animal.)
    BB: Work to treasure with a treasure chest, map, etc. I have glued gold coins to push pins and will display their work on this board.
    BB in hall: Work to flip over (flip flops)

    I am not using these but found these jobs on another post:
    Lobster Librarian, Coral Caboose, Catfish Custodian, Crab Computer Tech., Habitat Horticulturist, Man-o-war materials manager, Turtle teacher's assistant, Clown fish caboose, dolphin desk patrol, coral custodian, propoise postmaster.
