    Frog Theme

    I was married last summer and my new last name is "Croak" so I had to embrace the frog end of it and hope my kids didn't catch on the double meaning of the word croak. So, my classroom theme is "Leap Into Learning with Mrs. Croak". I found some really cute frog borders from Lakeshore Learning and I used that border for every bulletin board. I enjoy clean lines in my classroom so having everything match tied it all together.

    My word wall is actually hanging from one set of windows on a clothes line. The letters of the alphabet hang across the set of windows, and hanging from each letter is a sentence strip. I staple vocabulary word cards to the sentence strip under the appropriate letter. When I got married, I changed the letters at the top of the word wall by making lily pads from bright green card stock, and adding bright pink and yellow flowers. It is one of my favorite things in the room.

    We have a Hoppy Birthday poster with lists of birthdays. I found a really cute calendar set as well. Really Good Stuff magazine has a whole Leap Into Learning page full of things.
