Number Order

My students line up in number order. Each day the line leader from the day before goes to the back of the line, so every child gets a chance to be the line leader.
I also use a clicker in the hallway to signal for my class to stop or start. 1 click means stop, 2 clicks means start. My principal also is strict about being silent in the hallway. Since they don't know when they will hear the click they are usually pretty good about paying attention, so they don't run into the person in front of them. I walk at the back of my line, so I can keep an eye on everyone.
