Handwriting Without Tears

We use Handwriting Without Tears in my district. I can only speak for the first grade team (there are ten of us) and say that we don't like the program. The special paper that you have to use is not supported by any other handwriting paper/workbooks we have. This makes it very confusing for the children. As a PP said they don't make the transfer to regular paper. We have found that handwriting has been very poor since we adopted the program.
