    Kindness

    We actually have a unit on kindness in our anthology. These are the stories that are in our book:

    Mushroom in the Rain by Mirra Ginsburg
    The Elves and the Shoemaker (I'm sure any version would do!)
    The Paper Crane by Molly Bang
    Butterfly House by Eve Bunting
    Corduroy by Don Freeman
    The Story of Three Whales by Giles Whittell (I wouldn't suggest this for K class, one of the Whales dies and it's kind of hard to follow even for second graders!)
    Cinderella (Again, I think any version would do!)
