Full day's work for a full day's pay

If I am called in to work for a full day, I plan on working the hours requested. We are expected to come in a half hour before class starts and stay a half hour after class ends. I aLways need more than the half hour before to get ready and always have more than enough to do after, usually correcting work done in class. The one time a class got out at noon, I was pleased to be able to correct all their work without rushing. I like to leave a clean, orderly class. I sub because it gives me a great deal of flexibility. If a teacher is unreasonable, I black list her or him. I have written an entire school off my list because the principal is very unpleasant. I may be low on the totem pole, but I feel in control.
