    I'm there, too!

    Yesterday I got to school (45 minutes from home) and DH called. He thought he was having a stroke! I went into my principal and she called in a sub and I felt soooo guilty! Why? I have no idea! It's not like I could concentrate on teaching when my husband is in trouble. Well, my best friend came to my house, got my kids to school and then my husband to the ER (he didn't want to call 911! ARGGG, Men!) His BP was 190/110, way too high. By the time I got to the ER his BP was down and he was resting comfortable. The doctor determined he was having vertigo (and hyperventalating, thus the numb face and lips) and gave him a antivertigo mediaction. I felt guilty the whole time I was with him and not at school! At least today is a snow day and I don't feel one bit guilty being at home and sleeping in!
