Not really. Everyone is so stuck in the events that they have done before. I get what the previous K teacher sponsored/coached. This is the first year in four that I actually have to Direct and Monitor. I have typically coached two events and have stayed back with my kinders on event day but this year I have to go and do the extra expectations.
The "expected" is definately a "you have no choice" but to do this.
