    The Tale of Despereaux by Katie DiCamiilo....it is such a wonderful book.

    I have used every reading strategy that I have been teaching as we read a chapter or two aloud. The kids love it and it is such a wonderful piece of literature I can literally use questioning, inferring, predicting, summarizing, connections....you name it!!!!!! I love it!
