"The Power of Retelling"

Thanks for all the posts! I've enjoyed reading them. I'm encouraged to see that I'm not the only one who has felt a bit of frustration over the topic. I am thinking of launching an in-depth study of retelling/comprehension using the book "The Power of Retelling" in my classroom. I have a framework sketched out for a year-long study. If anyone is interested in partnering up with me (or as a group) and giving it a shot, I'd love to do an online "book study" professional development theory into practice (if you will).
