    I love the W by W essentials! I used them almost religiously last year. By the time we got to fractions on the pacing guide (end of 3rd quarter) my class could zip right through all the preliminary stuff because we had been working on Fraction Action all year!

    The Classroom Strategies are good too. It lists different activities for each part of the SCOS.


    By the way...NC is looking at a new math curriculum to be finalized this year. The transition year would be 2008-2009. I went to a DPI workshop this summer and we looked at the new curriculum. It looks much more developmentally approptiate than the current one!
