    Most of the time I would say wear normal teaching clothes, but since this is a district you would like a classroom in, I would say dress for an interview.

    You never know....if something comes up at the last minute and they are looking for a teacher, they may just think about how professional and prepared you are.

    and yes....CONGRATULATIONS!!:s) :D :s)


    I subbed my first year and I am glad I did. For personal reasons it worked out better than I could have imagined. Professionally, it gave me a chance to get my feet wet and think about how I would do things when I had my own classroom.

    My suggestion: Keep a file box with different topics and keep all the great ideas you come across or come up with in that box. It will really help when you are starting your own class and overwhelmed with all that comes with it.
