Do you have classroom computers? I let mine get on the computer if it is their day. Plus, I always have a 500 piece puzzle available for them to go work on 2 at a time. I have also copied hidden pictures, word searches, etc that are laminated that they can take to their desk and do w/a vis a vis. This year, I am going to see how they do w/getting a math game and finding a buddy who is also done to play with them as long as they are not a distraction. And they can always read or write.
