I have the silliest question here---how do you grade? I had the students do assignments this week, and I thought I'd grade on a check check-plus, check-minus kind of system... Then I looked at our report card and it has A's, B's...F's on it. The last school I was at just did checklist stuff for primary, which turned into above grade level, at grade level, or below grade level. I don't know what to do... any ideas/comments?
