1. We do not let the first color dry first 2. We do not unwrap after first color 3. We do dry the shirts with the rubber bands on- we hang them by a string. It takes awhile. If they are not completely dry, though, it's OK as you can let them air dry the rest of the way. 4. Our fourth graders decided how long, but I don't think it was very long. I would say the longer you leave it, the bolder the color Good Luck!
