He said, "If your son/daughter had a broken leg, you would fix it, wouldn't you? This is the same thing! There ARE medications out there that will help your child deal with the condition." Then we went through a few different kinds and finally found one that works. Some parents are just at their wits-end and others are too involved in their own lives to care. Luckily most of the parents I've dealt with just want to find and do what works. Occasionally, yes, you'll get a parent who doesn't give a rats ***, but in my experience, those have been few and far between. Good Luck! :)
