I remember when

I lived in Colorado Springs ---it would be blustery and snowy and school would still be open.......I had to walk to school - which meant I did not go if you could not see two feet in front of you......then when I lived on the East Coast - school would be closed when it began to snow......I guess because it was closer to the ocean than the mountains.....now in FL we close for Hurricane Days - which is very stressful if you live in an evacuation zone.....Snow Days were cool because you were able to be in your house....bake cookies......etc...unless the power went out but it was nice and toasty if it didn't........
