    I have taught in a Catholic school for 5 years now and I love it. I am able to teach and interact with my kids on a more personal level because of the setting we have. We don't have to deal with a lot of the 'stuff' the public schools have to deal with. I'm not saying we don't have our problems, however, they're on a much more mellow level.

    You will still get the overbearing parents, but they're fewer and farther between. Most of the parents in our school take a sincere interest in what their children are doing and learning in school and want to do everything in their power to help them succeed.

    On a side note -- the teachers at our school do not have to pay tuition for thier children. They only thing they have to pay for are book fees (about $200), and lunches if they choose not to bring a lunch from home.
