being in school doesn't necessarily improve their success, either. I truly do believe homework isn't JUST about improving performance, exp, in primary school. It's a whole host of things. Homework, as I mentioned earlier, is about student responsibility/accountability, developing habits, and promoting parental involvement. I don't recall discussing homework at all, actually, in college. I am sure there are studies out there that claim to yay or nay the benefits of homework in relation to improving school performance, but I am more interested in how it connects to overall school and student success, not just in the classroom but in general to the developing child.:s)
