I'm getting ready to student teach next semester, and I have some friends who have still not passed the certification tests also (thankfully I did). I'm not sure why they make them so hard. I"m not sure what state you live in, I'm from Colorado and I took the PLACE test. I felt like it wasn't that hard, it was just information that we haven't really learned in a long time. For example if you don't remember what you learned in third grade that one day then your out of luck. What I did to study was read the books "Everything a Thrid grader needs to know" they have the books for every grade. My mom is a teacher so she had all of the grades. These books are great, and helped me to pass, and some of my friends used them as well. Good luck! I'm sure you'll pass, just keep trying!
