    Sunnie,
My advice to starting a class web site is start slow. You might check with your district technology person to see if they have resources available to help you. Our district purchased space through our area educational agency. They even provided some initial training in building a site. Other things to think about as you are getting started:
    1. Search the web for other classroom sites. Seeing other sites can help you decide what might work for you. Eduhound.com has a listing of several that you can look at.
    2. Keep a notebook of ideas that you like from other sites and would like to include on your own.
    3. Write out a plan of what you want to include, starting with what you think is most important. Ask yourself, why am I putting this together?
    4. Have fun with it! Building a site can be very time consuming. I have become totally addicted to working on mine, but I love every minute of it!

I really love working on my page and would be happy to help if you need it. My website address is http://kgrover.indee.iowapages.org

    Good luck!
