Treasure ideas By Kat's Mom
|
| I use happy meal prizes, stuffed animals I pick up at yard sales, things I clean out of my own kids' toybox, cereal prizes, pencils, erasers, homemade passes to sit by a friend for a day, snack-size bags of chips/crackers/cookies, freebies from my husbands's work, such as notepads, pens, etc. I also pick up seasonal trinkets at the party stores when they go 75% off after a holiday, such as heart erasers after Valentine's Day. I also ask parents for their toybox/happy meal/cereal prize donations, and they are very accommodating! I also buy party favor packs at the dollar store, break them up, and stick them in. As for a treasure box, how about an old suitcase with some crafty stick-on jewels? I actually just use a Rubbermaid tote myself- it's not flashy, but it works.
