A collection of picture books that can be specifically used for bibliotheraphy or biblioeducation. Many will be Caldecott winners, but not all.

I am not a librarian, but I love librarians...they know so much and are so helpful. Check out the website for the American Library Association, ALA, they have lists and all kinds of excellent stuff....all about books.

For the lower grade levels (PreK - 3), I would suggest the Caldecott winner, "Make Way for Ducklings". The premise of the book is that we look at each other in a better light when we care for the least important....in this story...the ducks. Each person who helps the duck parents is filled with good feelings that they pass on to other people. The illustrations are fantastic...it won a Caldecott award, and the sepia tone makes the pictures timeless in their beauty.
