Adjective Lady

I did this just before leaving for winter break and the kids just loved it and it seemed like they really "got it".

I dressed up with an apron, a hat, a pair of sunglasses, a vest, etc. Then I entered the room and acted like the regular teacher had to leave and that Adjective Lady had to take over for a while. I allowed the students to describe each item and wrote the adjectives on a chart. As they described each article of clothing I took it off. I had such words as dark, checked, cool, red, etc.
