Here's what I do.
By muffy

Clip to ScrapBook
I don't know of any websites. I got most of my ideas for my nonfiction unit from Regie Routman's book, Conversations, and from Debbie Miller's book, Reading for Meaning. When I go back to school on Jan. 3rd I will pull it out. I will post a reply that week. Each child makes a really neat book with all the nonfiction conventions.I can't remember each of them right off the top of my head. We also use our Scholastic News to find many of the conventions such as labels and cut out the page and glue it in our book for an example. I promise to write you back if you have not had any website suggestions.
