Apply at this school. You have the union backing to get the interview. Go and hold your head up high. Stress that you have improved management skills. Stress you are willing to work hard. Stress that you are a team player.
Don't say anything bad about anyone or anything.
The person who left this school and gave you a hard time is gone from

there. People there know him and how he operates. You don't have to say anything about him or how he affected you.
Be professional. Stress how you can help this school.
