I also agree that you should stay clear of the situation. Even though you don't like the person and may like to have her gone, it is not worth risking yourself or job. If she does have these connections up administration, then she might go to them saying you are trying to sabotage her and there you will be trying to defend yourself. Also, your other co-workers who want you help will protect their own backs as well. If you were caught in a unfortunate situation of defending yourself from the "bimbo" and it was in their best interest to stay out of it -- BELIEVE me they will stay out of it!! Just keep doing what you are doing (being nice and not getting involved).
