Poops on the rug
By js

Clip to ScrapBook
One of my students peed on the rug/floor/chair (no poops thank God) 2 or 3 times a day the first two weeks of school... and we only have half-day. Her after-school and summer school programs had the same problem with her.
The parents claimed she did not wet her pants at home and that the doctor found nothing wrong with her (per request of the summer program staff). I really had a gut feeling she was doing it on purpose, either for attention or when she was angry about something. I began making her go to the bathroom every 15 minutes(used a kitchen timer). I also kept a change of clothes and made her change
her wet clothes in the bathroom by herself. She got totally sick of going to the bathroom so often, changing her own clothes all alone, and missing out on fun classroom activities... the peeing on the rug stopped after 2 days. Then I slowly increased the time between BR visits. Now she just asks when she needs to go. I hope this can work for you.
