duty free lunch By RM

In Texas it is required that we get a duty free lunch and 45 minutes a day for planning. At my school last year we did have to do lunch duty or recess duty every day. Our lunch time was when our kids were at recess. This year the principal has made the paraprofessional staff (aides) cover all lunches so that we eat at the same time as our students. It is much better having the aides do the lunch duty.

I can't even imagine having to eat with the kids everyday. I'll be sure never to teach in NC!
